Wow, UNC-LA pretty much pulled the same stunt as Duke tonight (safe 10-pt lead? what safe 10-pt lead?). Jay Bias, providing color, got in a plug for his alma mater, praising James Michael John Francis Peter McAdoo's toughness.

Thanks for coming back, DBR has been driving me nuts. This win was, I think, crucial for the season...

The amazing thing about the tip: we got possession and a turnover and thus flipped the jump ball arrow, so it was like two turnovers. The good thing about Quinn: realizing that traps can equal alley-oops. The good thing about defensive rebounds: hey, we finally got a few at the end. The good thing about Ryan Kelly: goofiest mother ever to hang 35+ on a top five team? The good thing about this evening: that last shot did not drop and I can continue to enjoy my (prescription) Vicodin! Hope to see youse next week...

Props too to Dave O'Brien for keeping Vitale in check and calling a great game. Bullethead would have had to be restrained from challenging Kyle Singler to a duel again if he'd done this one. Sure he lost some clams on the game anyway.

Jalen Rose blowing everyone's house down with excuses for the Hurryclowns on the postgame. Does Jay Bias new book include a section on Jalen's Duke As Uncle Toms Theorem? Also, Jalen goes with Suh-LAY-mon to pronounce Rasheed's surname. #inspiredchoice

Exactly. Coach K and Plumlee try their best to give away the game, but Kelly would not be denied. Classy interview with Doris too. Great kid.

The thing I hate most about Duke's defense: that ridiculous, useless, pointless, dickless "high flash out" by the five on the point at the top of the key. 100% of the time it accomplishes nothing; 50% of the time it evacuates the lane and results in some wild dunk for some two-foot range garbageman like Trey Mandibular-Joint. I swear that Duke would have eight national titles without this play.

You as well, Mark Zanies, please don't boo when a guy hits his head and goes down and Duke is not on a fast break, so it was appropriate to stop play under the rules #kthxbai

Am I wrong in suggesting Kelly actually directs both ends of the court from the top of the key? He tells everyone where to be, go, etc.

Duke holds the tip, but we probably still won't see it as the Worldwide Trailer refuses to cut away from an 11-point Big XII matchup with 45 seconds left. Oh, wait, maybe we will as Texas decides not to foul. Thanks, Rick Barnes!
