Heading into the postseason, what's your take?
Duke is a serious Final Four contender
We just may have kept the Duke Foot Injury from ending our season for the third straight year
Miami is really backing into the tournament phase
So much for those little Tools and their VAUNTED twelve-guard lineup, at least until next Saturday
Still not going to miss Maryland, College Park at all
Just enjoying the ride
I have some gripe or other but will hold it for now

Request permission to keelhaul the next knucklehead who says Duke does not have a true point guard. Criminy, where do these idiots come from?

Nice to see K playing the second unit, rather than the usual starters plus two routine, which usually seems to apply even in blowouts like this. Especially since Hairston, Cook, and, maybe, Gbinjie present different looks than any else on the team. Also, nice to see Rivers starting to slow down some.

On the other hand, I would've liked to see more force feeding of Kelly; still kinda think he's pretty much the key to the season.

I was occupied so couldn't pay too much attention. Dawkins did fine until his injury. So definately hope he's okay. Team is stilll trying to find their identity. Miles did better. Hairston with a nice throwdown after that off the foot dribble. Mason was good. Cook seemed okay, Thornton was Thorton. Curry was good on assists not so much on points, Austin seems to be trying to pass instead of going amongst the trees. Kelly was okay I think he was still suffering from what happened to him in Ohio. Gbinije got some minutes and I hope more in the future. Foul shooting was bad. Overall, a grade of B maybe? Have a nice evening guys.

Nice game from Miles & Mason, although R Kelly looked (a little) out of sorts. Also nice to see Josh & 'Silent G' get some good floor time.

I felt Dawk played really well...hope he is ok for saturday's game. Love the Q Lewis reference.

Rebounding & D was ok, I think Duke will take steps in both of these areas by conference play. My reasoning - 1) perimeter D will improve (better chemistry and communication as the season progresses); 2) We have great size up front and apparently Mason is getting more effcient (confident?) with regards to defensive boards

Go Duke

Good point, Karl. I didn't find the defense to be all that deficient, actually.

Duke held the best 3pt shooting team to 4 of 11. Not a big surprise that they could penetrate.

Dawkins apparently okay despite being pulled from the game with back spasms.

LOL - - TDD is even more negative than I am.

TDD posters down on the team's defense.

Nice. 23-point win and we didn't even shoot well from the stripe or the arc. 21 assists, 9 turnovers, alleges GoDuke's ShillStatCast. Not bad. Love that Calcaterra stiff for CSU.

Goddammit. I missed most of this game because I mixed up what night it was on, which I shouldn't've, because it's my birthday. That said, was only irritated by Patrick and El-less twice each, so I guess there's a silver lining.

Nice scoring play by Gbinije. Hairston is rebounding with confidence. Seth didn't score much but played an excellent distribution role.

. . . and we've entered Goofy Phase. Gbinjie looks like he wants to be more involved. I can't understand why Quinn Cook appears so tentative.

Good to see Kelly getting itno the second-half scoring now. Miles (!!) has also played very well. Granted, this is an undersized team, but we've seem lame efforts from Miles before against lilliputian opponents.

Rivers is playing very nicely and under control. Love the 15 Duke (team) assists so far.

I'm amazed, but Mason is quietly becoming a force on the interior. He played very well against Robinson and, although it was lost in the shuffle of the debacle in Columbus, matched Sullinger evenly. If we can get some consistent guard play and he can keep it up, I'd be pleased.

Andre sent to the bench, with Thornton starting, and is predictably on fire. Dawkins just functions better in the Quincy Lewis "Instant Offense" role.

A good piece of scheduling here, as the Rams are a real opponent from an actual conference, relatively speaking. Just ask anyone who's played UNLV this season.
