Heading into the postseason, what's your take?
Duke is a serious Final Four contender
We just may have kept the Duke Foot Injury from ending our season for the third straight year
Miami is really backing into the tournament phase
So much for those little Tools and their VAUNTED twelve-guard lineup, at least until next Saturday
Still not going to miss Maryland, College Park at all
Just enjoying the ride
I have some gripe or other but will hold it for now

Watching a coupla the UCLA games, I can see why Roy traded away the Wear bros.

**Miles is just killing me. He's got the dexterity of the Kool-Aid Man in there. He should enter the game by crashing through a wall and yelling.**

Heh. There was a brief stretch in the second half where Miles made three good defensive plays, and I thought to myself, "Wait, is he turning it around?" The jinx must be able to read minds as he bumbled a couple out of bounds and was schooled on the defensive end right afterwards.

Still, there's a lot to like. Backcourt looks really good on offense and has the potential to improve defensively. Ryan's been brilliant. Mason shows flashes. Not a great team yet by any means, and ultimately I think our defensive liabilities will be our undoing, but I see no reason we can't win 25-28 games and get to the Sweet 16. Not a vintage Duke year but not bad for a team without an experienced star.

Man, this is it? What are you guys doing? Hanging out with your family? Well, DVR'd the game and let me start by saying how much I hate TWC. Of course, my forward on the remote does not work so well and it's not like I tape a lot of stuff but I couldn't use it. I was basically watching the game live with timeouts and commercials along Raftery's and Bilas's whimsical muses. So here's what I saw. Balanced scoring by the starting five. Hairston with one awful shot. I think he played maybe two minutes. Miles with a couple of putbacks and then a missed pass and a ball knocked out of his hands. Cook played decent with a nice alley oop in the first half. Did not play the second. Duke was up by 9 I think at half. Hardaway jr. with no points in the first half. Second half, he started getting it going which seemed to get everyone else into it and at one time Michigan could not miss. But Duke did a good job of answering back. It was either Curry, Kelly, Rivers, or Dawkins doing what what was needed. Mason clogged the middle. 3 of his fouls were offensive so he needs to stop driving. But every time Michigan would answer and get within 5 or 6 points, someone would make a basket or two and they would stretch it out again. It was like that until the final minute when everything that Michigan shot went in. It appears when the other team is going to foul, K will take Mason out and essentially have Kelly as the only big man. But he's a good foul shooter and he'll fill 1 through 4 positions with Curry, Rivers, Dawkins, and Thornton. Seems to work. Good to see when one player is off another steps up. I really like Kelly's all around work. He's not known for his defense but he does get a block or two, hustles for the rebounds and will shoot i. Will see what happens tomorrow.

Great shooting from pretty much everyone. Our first 1/2 D was really good. Good minutes from Thornton.

I guess it was a matter of time before Hardaway broke out.

Duke's rebounding was terrible, IMO.
