Matt’s comments in blue.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE (11-5, 0-2) @ #25 FLORIDA STATE (13-3, 1-1)
So here's our huge summary of the results in that first extra-Duke edition of Two Dukies Screw Up the ACC So Badly It Fails Even to Amuse:
bc/clem - - both picked right
duke/gt - - both picked wrong
uva/ncsu - - both picked wrong
wake/mifl - - both picked wrong
fsu/umcp - - both picked wrong
vpi/ncch - - both picked right (of course - - nice coaching, Baldy!)
Hey, Florida State lost at College Park over the weekend, but is upon info and cred the same team that won at Georgia Tech five days before Christmas, and as we all know, winning at Georgia Tech is some huge feat this season. So, in other words, the ACC is well-primed, even at this early date, to drive us all insane.
Florida State 78, North Carolina State 74.
The Seminoles (yep, unlike a certain Washington, D.C. football operation, this mascot is totally fine) remain just barely ranked after dropping a strange one in the soggy confines of College Park. Not to be outdone, Low Sid managed to lose to what should be the league’s worst team, but on his own home floor. And, around these parts, we got both games wrong.
Florida State 74, North Carolina State 68.
MARYLAND, COLLEGE PARK (10-4, 1-0) @ WAKE FOREST (11-3, 1-1)
Hey, did L.D. Williams lead your team in scoring over the weekend? If so, you probably lost on two late-game plays by Mountain Dews at the CSI Center. Meanwhile, Sweaty is trying to erase memories of that loss at the hands of co-equal British sovereigns William III and Mary II by beating up on far weaker competition: the ACC.
Wake Forest 79, Maryland, College Park 78.
By the way, after the awesome predictions Matt I turned in over the weekend, we’re opening up a sports betting hotline at 1-900-LSE-CASH. A big thanks to all four coaches in today’s edition for inspiring us on our new career. The odds are not good that the Moist One can develop and implement a successful strategy two games in a row, even if he’s facing his equal in non-game management.
Wake Forest 82, Maryland, College Park 75.
